After years spent in the fast-paced world of fashion as a model and running restaurant businesses, motherhood completely shifted my perspective. I realised how easily families—my own included—were swept up in busy routines, missing the small, meaningful moments that truly matter.

Over time, my deepening experience with holistic practices gave me a new lens through which to see childhood, parenting, and everyday life—guiding me towards a slower, more intentional way of living, where presence and emotional well-being are at the heart of it all.

I wanted something more.
A way to slow down.
A way to nurture childhood with intention.
A way to create mindful spaces where children feel safe, confident, and free to be themselves, and where parents can discover products that genuinely support their child’s emotional well-being, physical development, and creative expression.

And so, Oikoko was born—rooted in the belief that children thrive when their essential needs are truly cared for, from emotional safety and freedom to creativity, connection, and joy.
